Castle Falkenstein was supposed to become located in Bavaria, Germany, not far from either Neuschwanstein. King Ludwig II of Bavaria planned this as his 4th castle. A castle was designed originally by Christian Jank in 1883 and a road built to its projected places, however shortage of money was a independent stimulator for it never inducing farther than that. Fallowing Ludwig's mysterious demise, a lot of his farther plans for further grandiose castles were for good abandoned.
